Premier League Transfer Round Up: June 1st-12th.

Take a look at all the confirmed incomings from the first 12 days of the Transfer Window.

Diego Carlos - Sevilla to Aston Villa (26 million pounds)

Aston Villa will be hoping the acquisition of 29-year-old Centre Half Diego Carlos will help sure up their defence, which let in 54 goals last season. The 6-foot-tall Brazilian, alongside Chelsea-linked Jules Kounde, was part of a Sevilla defence which allowed in the fewest goals in La Liga last season. Steven Gerrard will be hoping the experienced defender will settle in quickly to life in Birmingham and help form a strong spine for this Villa squad alongside either Tyrone Mings or Callum Chambers.

Robin Olsen - Roma to Aston Villa (Undisclosed Fee)

Aston Villa have also secured the permanent signature of Swedish Goalkeeper Robin Olsen from Roma. Olsen spent the second half of last season at Villa Park, making his debut in the infamous 3-2 loss away to Manchester City on the final day of the season. Olsen will continue to serve as an experienced number 2 to first-choice keeper Emiliano Martinez.

Matt Targett - Aston Villa to Newcastle (15 million pounds)

Newcastle have made Matt Targett's loan from Aston Villa a permanent deal by activating a clause that will see them sign the English left-back for 15 million pounds, including a 3 million pound loan fee for last season. Targett impressed Eddie Howe and the Newcastle ownership during his loan spell, where he made 16 appearances and kept 5 clean sheets, helping steer the Magpies away from relegation.

Rasmus Kristensen - RB Salzburg to Leeds (10 million pounds)

Leeds have completed the 10 million pound signing of Danish Right Back Rasmus Kristensen from RB Salzburg. Kristensen is familiar with Jesse Marsch, having worked together during Marsch's time in Austria. Kristensen played a crucial role in leading Salzburg to an eighth Austrian Bundesliga title in a row, logging 10 goals and 8 assists along the way. Leeds will be hoping Kristensen can provide some much-needed coverage at the right-back position, with Luke Ayling and Stuart Dallas having struggled with injuries and suspensions during the 21/22 campaign.

Fraser Forster - Southampton to Tottenham (Free)

Tottenham have snatched up the experienced 6'7 inch shot-stopper Fraser Forster on a free transfer from Southampton. The 34-year-old signed a three-year deal with Spurs and finished his Southampton career after making 134 Premier League appearances for the Saints since signing with them in 2014. The veteran keeper will likely serve as a number 2 for Antonio Conte's side.

Thanks for reading this week's transfer round-up, keep in mind I will not be reporting on any deals until they are confirmed by the club (if you are concerned as to why Darwin Nunez is not on this list). Nor have I included older deals such as Perisic to Tottenham and Haaland to Manchester City.

Stay Grubby! :)

All those rumors you read create confusing noise while this is a great weekly review of actual confirmed transfers.
