Premier League Done Deals: Transfers Confirmed Before the Window Opens

The season may have ended less than three days ago, but it’s already time to turn our attention to the 25/26 Premier League campaign as clubs begin their summer business. The summer transfer window technically opens on the first of June, but in today's game, with deals agreed months in advance, several signings have already been confirmed by the clubs.

We’ve compiled all the major deals CONFIRMED by Premier League clubs ahead of day one of the summer transfer window. Stay tuned for the rest of the summer, as we release articles every Wednesday with all the latest transfers from the Premier League.

Dean Huijsen - Bournemouth to Real Madrid (£50million)

The largest and most notable deal announced by a club so far is an outgoing, as Bournemouth’s 20-year star defender Dean Huijsen joins Real Madrid for £50 million after the club triggered his release clause. Financially it’s brilliant business for Bournemouth, who signed the Spaniard just one year ago from Juventus for £12.6 million.

Huijsen had a fantastic first season for the Cherries, appearing in 32 of 38 league matches, with 26 starts. He was the standout in a Bournemouth defense that ranked sixth in the league in goals conceded per match, Huijsen ranked in the 97th percentile across Europe's top five leagues for clearances and interceptions per 90. He also contributed in attack with three goals and a couple of assists. He’ll be difficult to replace, but for the money, it’s a good bit of business for Bournemouth.

Giorgi Mamardashvili - Valencia to Liverpool (£29m)

Liverpool officially announced the signing of Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili in August, but the 24-year-old remained at Valencia for the rest of last season and will join up with the champions officially on July 1st.

Mamardashvili was one of the better players in a mediocre season for Valencia, who ended up finishing 12th in La Liga, a drop from 9th in 2023/24. Statistically, he compares well to the current Liverpool goalkeepers Caoimhin Kelleher and Allison, his numbers suggest a slightly improved shot-stopping ability to Kelleher, and comparable to Allison, but his passing percentages are lower than both, which could be attributed to the quality of the Valencia side as compared to Liverpool.

It will be interesting to watch whether the signing forces Allison or Kelleher into a move away from Liverpool, with some reports suggesting that one of them will likely leave.

Estevao - Palmeiras to Chelsea (£28.5, with add-ons)

Chelsea announced the signing of 18-year-old Brazilian winger Estevao from Palmeiras last summer, for a fee of £28.5m that could rise to almost £50m with add-ons. The teenager will join up with Chelsea after this summer's Club World Cup.

The winger is highly rated and has scored ten goals and provided four assists in 30 appearances for Palmeiras in 2025. Estevao follows the other teenage Brazilian sensation Endrick, who left Palmeiras for Madrid a year ago and has struggled since making the move.

In a large and talented squad, it may be hard for Estevao to make an immediate impact, as he may not offer much that differs from players like Neto and Noni Madueke, and with a high price tag, expectations will be high.

Eli Junior Kroupi - Lorient to Bournemouth (£12million)

Bournemouth confirmed the signing of Eli Junior Kroupi from Ligue 2 side Lorient back in January but loaned the striker back to the French club for the remainder of the season. The 18-year-old won the Golden Boot in France’s second tier, with 22 goals, helping guide Lorient to the league title and promotion back to Ligue 1.

Before signing for Bournemouth, the Daily Mail reported that Real Madrid, Tottenham, and RB Leipzig all showed an interest in the player. Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola spoke highly of Kroupi after the signing, citing his potential and ahead-of-the-curve development. The striker certainly will be one to watch next season.

Tom Watson - Sunderland to Brighton (£10m)

Tommy Watson etched his name into Sunderland history last weekend, scoring the late winner in the Championship playoff final bringing his boyhood side back to the Premier League for the first time since 2016. However, Watson won’t play a part in that campaign, as the 19-year-old left winger agreed a deal to sign with Brighton for £10m just last month.

Watson had a promising season with Sunderland, scoring three times, including that winner, and making twenty appearances throughout the campaign. It was tumultuous at times, with the winger even being booed off in his first appearance after the club announced his move to Brighton. He’s certainly joining a club that knows how to handle young talent, so we’ll see if he ends up appearing for the Seagulls or perhaps being loaned out.

Luka Vuskovic - Hajduk Split to Tottenham (£12million)

18-year-old Croatian center-back Luka Vuskovic agreed to sign for Tottenham back in September 2023, but will officially join Spurs this summer after spending the season on loan at Belgian side Westerlo.

The 6’4 defender is a threat in both boxes, winning 65% of aerial and on-the-ground duels, and scoring seven goals. He’s considered one of the most exciting defensive prospects in Europe and will be one for the future at Spurs.

Bashir Humphreys - Chelsea to Burnley (£12m)

22-year-old left-back Bashir Humphreys joins Burnley permanently after spending last season on loan with the Championship side. Humphreys made 25 appearances for Burnley, scoring once and assisting twice, before getting injured. He’s an attacking fullback with accurate crossing and passing statistics.

Jaidon Anthony - Bournemouth to Burnley (£8M)

Burnley also confirmed the permanent signing of Jaidon Anthony, who spent last season on loan from Bournemouth. The 25-year old winger was one of Burnleys standout players last season, leading the club in assists with seven, and scoring eight goals in addition.

Anthony has made 33 Premier League appearances, most of those coming in the 2022/23 season with Bournemouth. His experience should prove valuable for Burnley, and for £8m it’s a steal.

Yasin Özcan - Kasimpasa to Aston Villa (£5.83m)

Aston Villa announced the signing of 19-year-old center-back Yasin Özcan back in January but loaned him back to Turkish side Kasimpasa for the remainder of the season. Özcan has made 93 senior appearances for Kasimpasa and has been capped by Turkey.
